dLocal was confirmed as UATP One’s newest payment-processing partner, giving airlines and travel merchants another acquiring option across more than 60 countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
The tie-up is aimed at lowering cost and complexity while improving conversion and booking volumes in markets where local payment methods and local processing matter most.
dLocal brings access to more than 1,000 local payment methods, while UATP gains added local processing capacity and dLocal gains a route into UATP’s global airline and corporate travel network.
Those regions also align with the fastest-growing air-travel demand: Boeing projects annual passenger traffic growth of 7% in South and Southeast Asia, 6% in Africa and more than 4% in Latin America through 2044.
