Summary
Eleven underage Moroccan girls have filed sexual-assault complaints with Spanish police in Ceuta since the late-July mass crossing, adding a new documented count to the enclave's security crisis.
Three sexual-assault cases involving migrant women have already reached Ceuta's courts; two alleged victims were minors, two suspects were jailed pending trial, and a third accused man was ordered deported.
The strain is concentrated around overcrowded reception sites, where about 700 people were housed in a center built for roughly 500 and hundreds more slept outside, with women reporting nightly harassment.
Spanish authorities say 5,000 to 8,000 people remained in Ceuta more than two weeks after 72,000 crossed from Morocco; 2,168 children were registered by Tuesday and 500 adult asylum claims had been filed.
Health Minister Mónica García said five women had been treated for sexual violence, while aid groups and ministers pushed for safe shelter, 1,500 extra reception places and specialist support for women and girls.
