Summary
Gett on Wednesday launched a trial service in 25 countries that lets Israeli users book rides abroad through its app, pay directly there and see upfront prices in shekels.
HQ supplies the international network behind the service, linking Gett to local transport providers in more than 1,000 cities so users avoid downloading separate apps and receive Hebrew-language support.
The offering includes taxis, electric vehicles, premium cars, larger vehicles and some shared rides, with Gett acting as the customer-facing platform rather than operating fleets itself.
That model returns Gett to overseas markets months after it shut its remaining non-Israel operations in April 2026, when it sold its London business to Lyft for about $55 million.
Gett said the trial will later expand to more than 70 countries, giving it international reach without rebuilding the infrastructure and regulatory footprint of direct foreign operations.
