Summary
Greenville police went to a Brian Hickerson family residence around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday for a welfare check, knocked on several doors, got no response and left within about three minutes.
Police said the call did not require an incident report and was unrelated to the investigation into Hayden Panettiere’s death, where Hickerson was present at the South Carolina home.
Mia Terrazzas, a former West Hollywood neighbor, told Inside Edition she called 911 at least six times over disturbances at Panettiere’s apartment and said an HOA notice warned residents to call police if Hickerson appeared.
Hickerson pleaded no contest in 2021 to 2 felony counts tied to a 2020 domestic violence case involving Panettiere, drawing 45 days in jail, four years’ probation and a five-year restraining order.
The renewed scrutiny comes after Panettiere’s mother said the family had tried for years to remove Hickerson from her life and after a police report said he was escorted out once EMS declared her dead.
