The authors said AI can still help when used for explanations or brainstorming, but warned that outsourcing difficult tasks may deprive students of the mastery experiences that build confidence and independent study habits.
Because the study used one-time survey data from a single province and a sample that was nearly 80% female, it identifies associations rather than proving causation and may not generalize broadly.
