Subnautica 2 Experimental is now live in the Xbox Insider Program, letting players try in-development updates before they reach the wider game.
Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC users can join through the Xbox Insider Hub, but they must own Subnautica 2 or have an active Game Pass subscription.
Experimental builds are less stable than the regular version and may include bugs, unfinished features and balance changes as Unknown Worlds gathers player feedback.
Multiplayer is limited to other Experimental users, and saves stay version-specific, with Experimental and Stable files kept separate and not interchangeable.
Player bug reports submitted through Xbox's Report a Problem tool are intended to help refine features before broader release to the full Subnautica 2 community.
