Pixel 11 owners can now assign distinct vibration patterns to calls, notifications and individual contacts, a quietly shipped feature Google did not highlight at launch.
11 patterns are available across ringtone and notification menus, with options such as Heartbeat, Gears, Rattlesnake and Pulse, and contact-level setup runs through the Contacts app.
Per-contact vibrations make the phone easier to identify from a pocket or on silent, giving Pixel 11 a practical accessibility boost in loud workplaces or for users who cannot check the screen easily.
Google is late to a feature Apple has offered since iOS 5, but the cleaner Pixel implementation leans on strong haptic hardware and remains exclusive to the Pixel 11 lineup for now.
