Google Launches $1,899 Pixel 11 Pro Fold With 3x Durability and New AI Tools

Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold is now on sale at $1,899, adding a thinner 5mm-open design, an 8-inch inner display and a build the company says is three times more durable than last year’s model.
New materials drive that pitch: a glass-ceramic cover, glass-fiber composite back and retained IP68 dust-and-water resistance, while the phone is nearly 10% lighter at 239 grams.
Google is also leaning on Android 17 and Gemini Intelligence, including Live Translate for media, Magic Capture, camera-based Circle to Search and Bubbles for quicker multitasking.
Trade-offs remain at the price: the foldable’s cameras and 4,806-mAh battery trail the nonfolding Pixel 11 Pro models, and the inner screen lacks an anti-reflective layer that would better hide the crease.
The device enters a tougher foldable market just after Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup, with Google positioning durability and AI as its main differentiators rather than a major redesign.
