Dallas Beats Indiana 91-85 as Bueckers Foul on Clark Sparks Tense Exchange

Dallas closed out a 91-85 win over Indiana after Paige Bueckers wrapped Caitlin Clark’s left arm with under 10 seconds left in the first half, triggering a brief on-court exchange.
The foul came with the Wings having one to give before halftime; Clark, visibly frustrated, fired the ball downcourt after the contact, sending it near Bueckers’ head as players headed to the locker room.
Bueckers was called for a common foul on that play and later picked up a technical in the third quarter after arguing with an official following another foul involving Clark.
Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas with 32 points and Bueckers had eight assists, while Kelsey Mitchell scored 37 for Indiana and Clark finished with a team-high nine assists.
The flare-up added to a fast-growing Clark-Bueckers rivalry a week after they each scored 29 points in Indiana’s 98-87 win, though Clark still called Bueckers a “tremendous player” after Thursday’s game.
