TJ Harden entered the NCAA transfer portal after brief NFL stints with the Browns and Seahawks ended in waivers, reopening his college career.
A Louisiana court ruling that made multiple members of the 2022 recruiting class eligible again created the path for Harden to return to college football.
At SMU in 2025, Harden played all 13 games and led the Mustangs with 787 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 171 carries.
Before transferring to SMU, Harden spent three seasons at UCLA, appearing in 31 games and topping 1,600 rushing yards, including a career-best 827 yards in 2023.
If another program signs him, Harden would join a third school and could become one of the more impactful returning players now re-entering the college market.
