Gwyneth Paltrow answered criticism of her reported Sam Altman dinner by posting Instagram invitations swapping in fictional guests including Shrek, Jessica Rabbit and M3gan.
The spoof cards copied the cream-and-blue design of the invite circulated after Puck reported an off-the-record dinner at her home for the OpenAI chief.
More than 800 comments hit the post by press time, with users mocking the "tech overlord" vibe, urging her to stop backing AI giants, or asking what the joke meant.
That backlash followed days of online criticism calling the dinner tone-deaf; a Reddit thread on the leaked invite drew nearly 500 comments.
Paltrow already has deep AI ties through Goop and personal investments, and said in May she uses AI as a "chief of staff."
