Take-Two Seeks 2 DMCA Subpoenas Over GTA 6 Leaks Before Nov. 19 Launch

Summary
Federal court filings in New York show Take-Two asked for DMCA subpoenas to force Microsoft and Discord to identify users behind alleged “Grand Theft Auto 6” leaks.
The requests follow multiple gameplay videos posted this week by hacker group CyberLeek, which claims it obtained a playable build; the clips have been removed and then reposted elsewhere.
Take-Two said the infringed material includes audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogue and other creative elements, with one filing alleging posts on GitHub and the other on Discord servers.
Discord said it reviews and complies with valid DMCA subpoenas as routine, while Microsoft did not immediately comment and Rockstar has not publicly confirmed the leaks’ authenticity.
The legal push comes more than three months before GTA 6’s Nov. 19 release, with Netflix set to air an extended look on Aug. 27 after Take-Two recently touted strong early preorders.
