Samsung Display showed a 16-inch OLED laptop panel with 2.5K resolution and a 300 Hz refresh rate at IMID 2026 in Busan.
300 Hz targets smoother motion for competitive gaming, while the 2.5K resolution aims to preserve image sharpness instead of trading detail for speed.
Samsung said the panel would be the first self-emissive laptop display to reach 300 Hz, a notable step as premium gaming notebooks increasingly adopt OLED screens.
Two other gaming panels also appeared at the event — a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED and a 34-inch 21:9 QD-OLED — both running at 360 Hz.
Samsung did not disclose mass-production timing or launch plans, leaving the 16-inch panel as a showcase product for now.
