Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 replaces MGS4’s old PlayStation 3 punchline with platform-specific lines, so the Shadow Moses disc-swap joke now names the system players are actually using.
Christopher Randolph returned to record the revised Otacon dialogue, preserving the original scene while adapting it for the collection’s multi-platform release.
The change reflects MGS4’s move beyond its PS3-only roots; this week, reports also said a separate PS3 reference was removed on Nintendo versions.
