SmartLog Launches Free Camera Report App With 19 Calculators and 3,090 Downloads

3D Film Parts’ SmartLog is now available as a free beta camera-report app that lets film crews log takes during shooting and auto-generate finished reports without an account or subscription.
19 camera calculators, 87 camera bodies and 575 recording modes anchor the app, with manufacturer-sourced data cited by document, revision, page and read date.
SmartLog also checks card file lists or DIT CSVs against logs to flag missing clips, batch-fix timecode offsets across take ranges, and export to Silverstack, Resolve, Premiere and Final Cut.
3D Film Parts said the app has reached 3,090 downloads and launches across 51 public builds, with every feature requested by working filmmakers and credited publicly in its changelog.
The beta is built for multiple crew roles — from 2nd AC to DIT — and keeps data local, with no uploads, hashing or automatic write-ins before preview.
