American Assets Trust Chairman Buys 50,000 Shares for $1.1 Million

Ernest S. Rady bought 50,000 American Assets Trust shares on Aug. 21 at a weighted average $22.75, according to an SEC Form 4 filing.
The purchase lifted his direct stake to 66,680 shares, while he still controls about 14.0 million shares indirectly through trusts and affiliated entities.
At Aug. 21's $22.83 close, Rady's combined holdings were valued at about $320.58 million, underscoring a sizable insider commitment after the stock gained 15% over the past year.
American Assets Trust, a $1.4 billion REIT focused on office, retail and residential properties, reported trailing 12-month revenue of $439.7 million and net income of $20.7 million.
