Robinhood’s Solana event contract does not settle on a single spot print. It resolves off CF Benchmarks’ Solana Real Time Index, with the final price set by averaging 60 index readings over the last minute before 8 p.m. EDT. That means a brief spike on Coinbase, Binance or any one venue would not automatically decide the outcome unless it moved the broader benchmark enough, and long enough, to lift the full-minute average above or below $93.50. That averaging window is the main safeguard. To swing settlement, a trader would likely need sustained pressure across constituent venues feeding the index, not just a last-second trade. CF Benchmarks’ methodology also includes oversight rules for delayed or erroneous data, which reduces the odds that a bad print alone determines millions in payouts. But the risk is not zero. If SOL is hovering very close to $93.50 into the final minute, even modest coordinated buying or selling across multiple venues could matter, especially in a volatile crypto market. Because these are binary contracts paying $1 or $0, a tiny move in the benchmark can flip the full value of open retail positions. So the real danger tonight is not a crude 60-second ambush on one exchange. It is a thinner, harder-to-detect attempt to nudge the benchmark average when SOL is sitting near the strike.

$93.25-or-above SOL contracts were priced at 84¢, with higher strike contracts at 68¢ for $93.50, 47¢ for $93.75, 17¢ for $94 and 8¢ for $94.25.
The contracts resolve on SOL's price at 8 p.m. EDT on Aug. 22, 2026, using CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index rather than exchange quotes shown on sites such as Google or Coinbase.
At expiration, 60 RTI readings from the final minute are averaged to set the official value, and winning contracts pay $1 each, usually within an hour of resolution.
Trading runs 24 hours a day except Thursdays from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. ET, with restrictions barring source-agency employees and anyone holding material non-public information.
