Russia Pulls UK Ambassador After 7 Years as London Backs Ukraine 100%

Andrey Kelin left his London post on July 21, and Moscow has not moved to name a successor, raising fears of a diplomatic breakdown with Britain.
Russia's embassy said Kelin had tried to preserve communication channels but accused the UK of choosing a "path of confrontation" through its unwavering support for Ukraine.
That tension sharpened after Britain reiterated 100% backing for Kyiv despite Russian threats over reported British drone use in strikes deep inside Russia.
Putin on Saturday said Ukraine had opened "Pandora's box" after drone attacks killed at least 10 people in Russia, one day after a Russian strike on a Ukrainian shopping centre killed 16 and wounded more than 130.
