Abu Dhabi’s Department of Energy signed a series of MoUs with US regulatory and academic partners covering electricity and water regulation, grid modernization, AI and advanced technologies.
The emirate is also exploring an AI-powered laboratory with international research institutions to test energy and water solutions, including quantum computing, forecasting and resource management.
Washington eased some export controls on advanced AI chips and energy-related equipment last month, giving Abu Dhabi a friendlier policy backdrop for deeper US energy-tech cooperation.
