Analysts said the added governance could pay off for companies running autonomous multi-turn coding agents, where unsupervised tasks can rack up large token bills, but may be harder to justify for basic autocomplete use cases.
Google also expanded Antigravity into VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains and Zed in preview, aiming to boost adoption by meeting developers inside their existing IDEs.
