Mitesco Explores $114 Billion Smart-Home Market Through Edge AI Nodes

Mitesco said it is evaluating strategic partnerships to extend its Centcore TC/DC edge-computing node into residential energy management and connected-home systems.
The company says moving AI processing closer to users could cut infrastructure, power and operating costs by reducing data movement, improving power use and matching capacity to local demand.
A residential node would first support Mitesco’s distributed computing network, then potentially connect with smart panels, battery storage, HVAC, EV charging and other home technologies.
The push targets a smart-home market Mitesco cited at roughly $114 billion to $162 billion, where companies such as Schneider Electric’s Square D, Leviton and SPAN already offer intelligent power-management platforms.
Mitesco said it will provide more details as talks develop, framing the home expansion as a longer-term option alongside its nearer-term goal of improving distributed AI economics.
