iOS 26 lets iPhone users resize the lock screen clock, move the widget dock and add a 3D “spatial scene” effect to photo wallpapers.
The clock can expand to roughly one-third of the screen, but only one font currently supports the larger size and changing size disables font switching.
Widget placement is still constrained: users can drag the dock near the bottom, and expanding the clock automatically pushes the dock there.
Spatial scenes work only with photos—not Apple’s built-in wallpaper collections—while lock screen controls also gain automatic color accents in iOS 26.
The update builds on iOS 18’s lock screen control changes, with iOS 27 betas already testing another option: shrinking the clock.
