Games Workshop has revealed a new Space Marine Captain on Bike kit, bringing the character back from "Legends" status ahead of an expected Codex: Space Marines push.
The return fills one of the few remaining gaps in the Space Marine range and pairs with the recently revealed multi-part Outriders, giving bike-heavy armies a leader option again.
Rules and loadout details point to a melee support role: the Captain grants Cleave 1 to his attached unit and can take a power sword, thunder hammer or plasma pistol.
The kit also adds hobby flexibility, with two bike poses, five head choices and a sheathed sword option for plasma-pistol builds.
The reveal suggests Games Workshop is expanding mounted Space Marine options as it builds toward the 11th edition codex.
