ElektraFi Expands Grand County Broadband With 2 Gbps Fixed Wireless and Fiber

Grand County residents and businesses can now buy ElektraFi service through both fixed wireless and fiber-to-the-home, expanding options in areas hit by chronic cable, coaxial and DSL problems.
Speeds range from 50 Mbps to 2 Gbps, with ElektraFi pitching fixed wireless as a faster-to-deploy alternative where fiber buildouts would take years in sparse, difficult terrain.
The company said each installation includes professional setup, business-grade equipment and local 24/7 support, and it also bundles internet with VoIP phone service.
The expansion targets rural connectivity gaps that the company says disrupt business operations and constrain economic development across Grand County's mixed geography.
