Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said an investigation is underway after an Upper Pottsgrove Township officer shot and killed a man early Sunday while responding to a Snyder Road home.
At about 12:29 a.m., police were sent to a 911 report of a possible attempted break-in and found the man behind the house, where officials said an encounter followed and the officer opened fire.
