Ohio Man, 26, Charged Over Death Threats to Trump and Rep. Randy Fine

Alex Justin Miller, 26, was charged in Florida with interstate transmission of a threat to injure after authorities said he emailed threats to kill Rep. Randy Fine, his family and President Donald Trump.
The message, sent on Florida primary Election Day, allegedly vowed to burn Fine’s home, murder his family and keep going until Fine’s head was “hanging from the rooftops of the White House.”
Fine said he reported the email immediately and that investigators identified and arrested Miller within 36 hours, calling it a clear death threat rather than a merely abusive message.
The FBI, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Secret Service and Capitol Police worked the case; Miller faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
Fine said the case underscored his push for stronger security for members of Congress, especially when threats come from outside their home states.
