Once running, FydeOS closely mirrored ChromeOS, restored prior ChromeOS apps, used Chromium as its browser, and offered web, Linux and AI features through a free Fyde account.
Two caveats remained: Android app support did not work in testing, and FydeOS AI appeared to be a free trial with no clear pricing or expiration details.
