The rally comes even though the stock is still down 1.14% over the past month, trailing the Finance sector's 1.81% gain and the S&P 500's 3.34% rise.
Valuation remains somewhat richer than peers: Goldman trades at a forward P/E of 15.04 versus its industry's 14.65, with a PEG ratio of 1.05 against 1.02.
