The contrast is sharp inside manufacturing: IMMEX employment fell 0.73% year over year in June, and transportation equipment jobs dropped 1.37%, their 24th straight monthly decline.
Scotiabank economists said Mexico still needs more local suppliers, skilled engineers and stronger power, water and transport infrastructure to turn the AI boom into lasting industrial gains.
