Downtown Moose Jaw has a new family-run entertainment venue: Warp VR at 57 High Street W., offering groups shared free-roam virtual reality inside a 400-square-foot arena.
The center grew out of co-owner Justin Johnson’s research into commercial VR, with the couple aiming to add a new local attraction where families and groups can play without leaving the city.
Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets power games ranging from zombie shooters and escape rooms to Smurfs and Alice in Wonderland experiences, designed to keep players moving rather than sitting still.
Beyond VR, Warp also offers a Multiball interactive wall and arcade-style games for sports drills, parties, school trips and corporate events, with flexible booking outside regular hours when possible.
The business says customer response has been encouraging and is planning an end-of-summer event in late August with open play, kids’ activities, giveaways and two VR team competitions.
