That matters because at extreme focal lengths, sensor size is critical: a larger sensor gathers more light, which usually improves detail, lowers noise, speeds focus, and helps in dim venues. Oppo’s newly confirmed ProXDR system should also help, but in a different way. ProXDR is designed to improve dynamic range, highlight control, shadow retention, and color accuracy, especially under harsh stage spotlights and deep shadows. That could make concert photos look cleaner and more balanced. It does not, by itself, solve the core low-light problem that creates grain at 10x zoom. Concert photography remains one of the hardest smartphone tests. Subjects move quickly, lighting changes constantly, and telephoto lenses still receive far less light than the main camera.
