New internals drive much of that verdict: a cropped 26.5MP Four Thirds sensor, 779-point phase-hybrid autofocus, 9 fps mechanical bursts and 30 fps electronic shooting, all well ahead of the older LX100 II.
Image quality stood out, with clean JPEGs, usable low-light results up to about ISO 12,800 and 5.6K 60 fps or 4K 120 fps video, though 4K 60 fps recording is limited to 10 minutes before overheating.
Trade-offs remain: the 508-gram body is bulkier than the LX100 II, there is no in-body stabilization, and handheld video smoothing is only modest despite optical and electronic stabilization modes.
The review argues the L10’s zoom lens, flip-out screen and faster performance make it a strong rival to the $1,500 Sony RX100 VII and $1,800 Fujifilm X100 VI as compact-camera demand rebounds.
