People reported Meghan Markle is still in very early talks to join Season 3 of Netflix's "The Gentlemen," reversing earlier reports that the potential deal had collapsed; no agreement is finalized.
Season 2 premieres Sept. 3, and the U.K.-filmed Guy Ritchie series would mark Markle's first significant scripted role since "Suits," beyond a small 2025 cameo as herself.
A Sussex spokesperson said Harry and Meghan plan an extended stay in the U.K. this autumn while keeping their business operations in the U.S. and their California home; People said the acting project helped drive the move.
The possible return follows several uneven post-royal ventures, including a Spotify deal that ended in 2023, the canceled "Pearl" series, and "With Love, Meghan" shifting to seasonal specials in 2026.
Markle said in 2022 that she was "done" with acting, making the talks a notable reversal as advisers argue a return to acting may be her clearest career reset.
