Lineage declined Friday to say how much longer the work will last. The company said last week that 90% of waste in "Freezer 1" had been removed, and AQMD says it will then have seven days to power wash and disinfect.
Mayor Karen Bass said Lineage has failed to meet its responsibility and has not provided clear answers, while fire and building-safety investigations into the blaze are still ongoing.
