Barcelona doctors delayed surgery for Tadej Pogačar’s broken collarbone after the Vuelta leader was transferred by ambulance from Gandia and found to have a concussion.
UAE said the 27-year-old also suffered a stable C7 vertebra fracture, meaning there is no immediate risk of movement affecting his spinal cord.
