New Hampshire State Police said the chase began after troopers sought a vehicle tied to reported crimes in other jurisdictions and tried to stop the Mustang on Durham Street, but the driver fled without headlights.
Seely was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation; authorities said he was intoxicated after the crash and that no one else was injured.
Police charged Seely with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, disobeying a police officer and conduct after an accident, plus a reckless-driving violation; he is due in Portsmouth District Court on Sept. 9, 2026.
