Summary
Jordan said it intercepted 10 Iranian missiles and three others landed in remote areas, while Bahrain and Kuwait said their air defenses shot down drones aimed at US-linked targets.
The barrage came after CENTCOM struck Iranian radar, air defense, maritime and communications sites for more than six hours, saying the operation answered attempted attacks on shipping and US troops.
Iran said the overnight US attacks killed 18 people and wounded 108 across several provinces, including civilians at a wedding near the Strait of Hormuz; CENTCOM denied targeting civilians.
Oil futures rose above $94 a barrel as the renewed US-Iran exchange threatened the Strait of Hormuz again, with two tankers reportedly hit since Sunday.
