Summary
Samsung widened its August 2026 One UI rollout beyond South Korea, pushing the update to Galaxy S, Z and select A-series phones, plus the Tab S9 lineup.
The release fixes 58 vulnerabilities overall—38 Android CVEs and 18 Samsung-specific SVEs—and also delivers the promised Galaxy S26 Ultra color-calibration patch for the reported red tint issue.
Galaxy S26, S25 and S24 flagships are being prioritized first, while the A57, A56 and M56 have started receiving roughly 400MB security-only builds in Europe and India.
Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra are getting the tablet version first in South Korea, where Samsung says the patch addresses 56 security issues.
The staged rollout means older flagships and many mid-range models may wait longer, with availability varying by region, carrier and Samsung’s device-eligibility roadmap.
