Summary
Sept. 14 will mark Stern’s return to SiriusXM under a reduced schedule: one live Monday show each week, down from two.
Sept. 17 brings a second leg of the revamp, when HBO Max launches a streamable version of The Howard Stern Show with extra content released on Thursdays.
The change follows Stern’s new three-year SiriusXM contract through 2028, struck after retirement and cancellation rumors that he had recently played up on air.
Howard 101 will leave the SiriusXM lineup as Stern’s programming consolidates on Channel 100, while Radio Andy shifts to Channel 101 and a new Howard 100 lineup rolls out.
SiriusXM is also expanding Stern’s app presence with Howard Stern Decades, packaging archive material from the 1980s through the 2010s.
