Summary
$499 buys Dyson’s new CameraJet, an electric toothbrush that livestreams inside the mouth and automatically sprays mouthwash between teeth while brushing.
A 100,000-pixel camera and AI analyze 28 live images a second; within 100 milliseconds of spotting a gap, the brush fires a cone-shaped mouthwash blast.
Dyson says the wider, lower-pressure spray is gentler on enamel and gums than typical water flossers, while the brush head oscillates nearly 1,000 times per second.
Available now in ceramic blue and pink, the device uses RFID-tagged replacement heads and a dock that refills its 12.5ml mouthwash tank in three seconds.
The launch pushes Dyson further into personal care, with the company also planning non-foaming toothpaste and low-foaming mouthwash to improve the camera’s view.
