Summary
Version 128 lets Meta smart-glasses users start turn-by-turn walking directions by voice, including commands such as navigating to a destination hands-free.
The update fixes a key limitation on Meta’s non-display glasses, which previously relied on phone apps, Bluetooth playback, or Siri and Google Assistant to launch navigation.
Meta said walking directions are rolling out in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada and select cities, expanding a feature that had been limited on the Ray-Ban Display model.
Version 128 also adds spatial audio, an AI feature that creates a 3D effect from stereo sound and can be enabled in the glasses’ audio settings.
