Samsung has started pushing the August 2026 security update to the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, initially in South Korea.
The patch fixes 56 security issues found in the previous firmware, making the 2022 flagship lineup more secure without adding major new features.
South Korean builds carry firmware versions including S901NKSS9GZH3 and S906NKSS9GZH3, with wider availability expected in other markets over the next few days.
The S22 series now sits on Samsung’s quarterly update schedule and no longer receives major Android version upgrades after support ended last year.
