6 hours 49 minutes into Tuesday’s EVA, Jessica Meir and Sophie Adenot completed the top-priority swap of a docking retroreflector on Harmony’s forward port and replaced the station’s Camera Port 3 HD camera.
The docking aid had been coated with thruster residue from earlier spacecraft traffic, prompting the replacement to preserve navigation support for visiting vehicles during rendezvous and docking.
Adenot later lost mobility in her left shoulder joint, leading Mission Control to halt remaining optional work until Meir inspected the suit and freed a kinked cable near the joint.
Meir also torqued 46 bolts near the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and moved jumper cables and a foot restraint for a later EVA, while Adenot swabbed exterior surfaces for a microorganism study.
The outing was the ISS program’s 284th spacewalk, the seventh of 2026 and the sixth all-female EVA; Meir’s seventh spacewalk moved her to third among NASA women with 49 hours 22 minutes total.
