Tom Cruise said he is confident a combined Paramount and Warner Bros. can deliver 30 films annually, endorsing David Ellison’s production target in an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Cruise framed the goal as a studio-wide effort, saying artists across the merged company would need to work together because “everyone’s going to need all the help” to make those 30 movies.
Paramount has been Cruise’s longtime studio home, releasing all 8 “Mission: Impossible” films as well as the “Top Gun” movies and other titles including “Collateral” and “War of the Worlds.”
His support matters as the merger pitch leans on output and talent relationships, with Cruise also tied to Paramount’s upcoming “Days of Thunder” sequel set for 2028.
