China’s CCC database lists the Galaxy S27 as supporting 25W wired charging and the Galaxy S27+ at 45W, indicating Samsung is not raising speeds for either model next year.
Those ratings match the Galaxy S26 and S26+, extending a four-year pattern in which Samsung’s base and Plus Galaxy S phones have kept the same charging tiers.
Both certified models — SM-S9520 and SM-S9560 — are also expected to ship without bundled chargers, in line with Samsung’s recent practice.
Rumors point to bigger upgrades higher in the lineup: the Galaxy S27 Pro may get a 5,200mAh battery, while the S27 Ultra could reach 5,800mAh and 60W wired charging.
