Acer’s new Predator Atlas 7 shrinks its handheld gaming PC line to a 7-inch 1080p LCD while keeping Windows and aiming for North America availability in Q4 2026.
Intel’s Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme options set it apart from the larger Atlas 8, with the base chip using an Arc B370 GPU with 10 Xe3 cores instead of the B390’s 12.
Up to 24GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage and an 80Wh battery round out the specs, while a dual-fan cooling system pairs one metal Aeroblade fan with one plastic fan.
Acer is also emphasizing durability and controls with TMR thumbsticks, recessed face buttons and a dish-shaped D-pad, though pricing for the Atlas 7 and Atlas 8 remains undisclosed.
That missing price is central to its prospects in a handheld market where premium rivals such as Asus’s $1,300 ROG Xbox Ally X20 have pushed 2026 devices well above $1,000.
