Google Readies Pixel 11 Pro Audio Fix in Weeks as 4K 60fps Videos Crackle

Google said it has identified the Pixel 11 Pro video-audio bug and will push a software fix through the Camera app in the coming weeks.
The company said additional performance optimizations will also arrive in a monthly Android update, after users reported loud static in recordings made with AI features such as Video Boost and Audio Zoom.
Reddit posts tied the crackling most often to concert and family videos, with some users saying it appeared in about half of Video Boost clips or specifically in 4K at 60fps.
Temporary workarounds have been inconsistent: some users reduced the issue by disabling Audio Zoom, clearing the Camera app cache, or switching from 4K 60fps to 4K 30fps.
The bug has been especially frustrating because Video Boost and Audio Zoom are designed for the exact high-zoom, noisy scenes where Pixel Pro buyers would expect the phone to perform best.
