Summary
Three Morgan Stanley advisors — Richard Horn, Jeffrey Deckelbaum and Gerald Horn — have joined UBS in Bethesda, giving the firm a new team focused on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in the Washington area.
UBS said the hires deepen its Maryland footprint because the team brings longstanding local ties and complementary strengths in portfolio management, financial planning, risk management and client service.
Richard Horn spent nearly 40 years at Morgan Stanley, while Deckelbaum joined in 2006 and Gerald Horn in 2018, adding a mix of veteran experience and multigenerational client relationships.
The recruits will join UBS's South Atlantic Market under Jake Shine, part of a broader wealth platform that managed $6.9 trillion in invested assets as of the first quarter of 2026.
