S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Friday that Bloom Energy, Illumina and Everpure will enter the S&P 500 before the open on Sept. 21.
The changes come in the index provider’s quarterly rebalancing, with the three companies replacing Molson Coors and two other outgoing constituents not detailed in the report.
All three incoming stocks rose in after-hours trading after the announcement, reflecting the buying interest that often follows S&P 500 inclusion.
