San Antonio completed a simulated 4-0 Finals sweep of New York, with Victor Wembanyama averaging 26.5 points, 18.2 rebounds and seven stocks to claim Finals MVP.
Wembanyama’s title run capped a dominant simulated season: he won league MVP and Defensive Player of the Year after posting 25.0 points, 13.1 rebounds and 4.9 stocks.
New York still reached a third straight simulated Finals after earning the East’s No. 2 seed, while Jalen Brunson averaged 31.3 points in the conference finals.
Minnesota set up San Antonio’s path by finishing with the NBA’s best record at 63-19, but the Spurs knocked off the No. 1 seed Timberwolves in the West finals.
Elsewhere in the simulation, Philadelphia crashed to 27-55 in LeBron James’ age-42 season, and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury-hit Heat went 38-44 and lost in the play-in.
